There are a few cases where you may be required to submit additional documentation in order to join a course with us here at Lund University. They are as follows:
Special Permission Form - Courses on the PhD Level Only
All PhD students who are not employed by Lund University AND who are taking a course on the doctoral level (forskarsnivå) are required to fill this form out and submit it along with their application.

DO fill out this form if:
- You are not completing your doctoral degree at Lund University
- You are applying to your desired course here on our website
Do NOT fill out this form if:
- You are a Lund PhD student/employee
- You are applying to a course via the national admissions system antagning.se
Tuition Fee Waiver - Courses on the Master's Level Only
If you are a PhD student with a citizenship from outside of the EU/EEA, you are required to pay a tuition fee for courses in Sweden. If you are a doctoral candidate taking a course on the master's level (often methods courses, etc.) you can have the tuition fee waived using this form. You will submit it at the time of applying on our website, if the course you're taking is a master's course with a PhD course code option. If you are applying to a course with us through the national system 'antagning.se', please email this form to frankschreier [at] sam [dot] lu [dot] se.
DO fill out this form if:
- Your citizenship is outside of the EU/EEA
- You are applying to a course that is purely a master's level course (no corresponding PhD course code)
Do NOT fill out this form if:
- You are a citizen of an EU/EEA country
- The course you are applying to has a PhD course code
