Elective courses
Uncertain about what you would want to do in your third term? Fear not! We at Graduate School are here to help you!
Overview
What are elective courses?
Elective courses are the 30 credits worth of courses that Graduate School programme students take in their third term, those which will eventually be included in their master's degree. Some students travel abroad for studies or an internship during this period, but many choose to stay right here in Lund. Those who choose to keep it local during the elective period need not worry – there are plenty of elective courses to study right here!
During the third term, students can apply for courses at Graduate School, at other departments at Lund University, or even at another Swedish university.
Third term elective courses should be within the Social Sciences and relevant to a student's program/major. They can be Bachelor-level courses but should not overlap with any previously taken program courses.
