Evaluation Research - Theories and Methods - SIMM29

Train both your practical and theoretical skills

This course will give you hands on practice in how to develop an evaluation and how and why it is important to ground an evaluation theoretically. It will also give an overview of the different theoretically and methodological approaches there are within the broad field of evaluation research. This will give you good tools to critically assess evaluation research and the result of an evaluation, useful in a future professional context. As a student, you will have the opportunity to participate in lectures giving an overview of the context of evaluation, theory as well as experience from the practice, seminars and workshops where you will train both your practical and theoretical skills in relation to performing and assessing evaluations.

Online course platform

This course usesLiveatLund as the online course platform. The course platform will be opened about four weeks before the course begins to all students who were accepted. Here you will be able to access literature, assignments, announcements, and schedule, as well as participate in discussions and communicate with teachers.
